Leh Ladakh — Pangong & Nubra Valley

Overview

A well-paced Ladakh loop with two acclimatisation days in Leh before you go high. Cross Khardung La to Nubra for the cold-desert dunes and double-humped camels, then over to Pangong Tso for a lakeside night before returning to Leh.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1 Arrive Leh, rest and acclimatise.
2. Day 2 Leh sightseeing — Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, local monasteries.
3. Day 3 Leh to Nubra via Khardung La, Diskit, Hunder dunes.
4. Day 4 Nubra to Pangong Tso via Shyok, overnight lakeside.
5. Day 5 Pangong to Leh via Chang La.
6. Day 6 Transfer to airport, departure.
